A - There are many brands of facepaint available so there is no need to use poster paints, magic markers, or craft glitter, especially if you are going to be paid for facepainting. Use only waterbase paints. Manufacturers of many facepaints including greasepaint warn not to use red or yellow in the area of the eye. Economical and a favorite with schools and sports. 3. KRYOLAN AQUACOLOR is an all time favorite of facepainters. Palettes and refills are for use with a damp brush. The larger foundation size works well with sponges. 4. PARADISE AQ by Mehron is the newest and most popular facepaint. Palettes, refills, and the pro-size are a semi-soft, water activated, moist cake makeup. 5. DETAILZ by Mehron is a liquid with pointed applicator to make perfect tiny dots. A - Water based makeup is a good choice because it doesn't require powdering or special removers
StarBlend Cake Makeup by Mehron (2 oz containers) is applied
with damp sponge.
Fantasy F-X Tube makeup is more economical for the colors.
